Description
This Model proposed the Branching of Methionine and Threonine Biosynthesis Pathways in Arabidospsis thaliana, where Cystathionine gamma-synthase (CGS) and Threonine Synthase (TS) compete kinetically for phosphohomoserine. S-adenosylmethionine is the substrat for CGS which is responsible for the synthesis of cystathionine - precursor of methionine- and TS produces threonine.
